Products - Tri Slip-Dry Film Lubrication
Description
Groziers Tri-Slip 3004 Dry FILM lubricant is a technological breakthrough in dry lubrication.
TRS 3004 incorporates the best characteristics of the three most efficient,
low friction materials known, Graphite, Molybdenum disulphide, and PTFE
(polytetrafluroethylene). A combination of these materials in one product
has resulted in a fast drying slip coating with excellent adhesion to
steel with an extremely low coefficient of friction.
Because of the synergistic triple bonding between the Graphite, Moly
and the PTFE the resultant dry film produces a characteristic slip coating
that is highly resistant to mechanical wear with enhanced lubricating
properties.
TRS 3004 has excellent water and weather resistance,
and the self cleaning characteristics of PTFE means that dust and dirt
will not adhere, to the coated surface.
Uses
TRS 3004 Dry Film Lubricant has a wide range of industrial
uses where high load
lubrication, weather resistance and ability to operate in a wide range
of temperatures are
required.
Some of the many uses for this product where metal to metal contact is
to be prevented
are:
- Railway switch plates
- Mining industry
- Heavy engineering
- Metal smelting and refining
- Metal processing and deformation
- Agricultural and excavating equipment
- Any sliding surface where lubrication is required, but dust and abrasive materials in the workplace render traditional lubricants, such as oil and grease ineffective
- Rust inhibitor
Benefits of TRI-SLIP Dry Lubricant
- Minimises friction
- Provides superior protection against corrosion and Moisture ingress.
- Prevents metal to metal contact.
- Excellent high load performance.
- Self cleaning.
- Repels dirt and dust.
- Reduces power and energy inputs.
- Broad temperature operating range.

Directions for Use
*Shake well until agitator ball moves freely. Surface to be treated
is to be clean and grease and oil free. Keep nozzle approximately 25-30
cms from the surface sprayed.
*Apply spray evenly to fully coat the surface. Do not apply heavy coat.
Film is touch dry in 10 minutes. (usually much less). It is preferable
to apply two thin coats, allowing to dry between coats than one thick
application. Through dry is in 25 minutes and full strength in 24 hours.
*Clean valve by spraying in upright position until only gas is expelled.
In the event of blockage, remove plastic spray head, wash in mineral
turpentine or white spirit, blow clear and replace on can.
First Aid
*In case of eye contact, rinse with copious water for 15 minutes and
contact Doctor.
*In case of skin contact, wash well with soap and water.
